Letter from family in Nicaragua

The following is an email from Wilmer Mestayer in Nicaragua and my reply.

Hi, my name is Wilmer Mestayer son of Jose Mestayer
who died on July 1st 1977. if you have a lot of data
about our last name, I would like to know if our last
name really comes from France.

I live in Managua, Nicaragua. I was born on November
30th 1970, my sister Ada Paola Mestayer lives in
Miami, she was born on September 15 1973 and my other
sister is Maria Eunice Mestayer she was born on August
29th 1975

I understand from your web page that your family also
lived in Nicaragua. That is interesting.

Eugenio Mestayer had three marriges that we know of. One in France a second
in Costa Rica and the third was in Nicaragua.
